Toni is a 20-yr social work veteran, turned energy, and bodyworker who is the owner and operator of Sparrow Massage & Bodywork, LLC located in Winchester Station in Elizabeth City. Toni holds a BSW from Methodist University and also graduated with a master's degree in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in life coaching from Liberty University. Toni graduated with a diploma from Cayce/Reilly School of Massage in Virginia Beach and holds a massage license in both NC and VA.

Toni’s focus and passion is orthopedic/medical massage, especially for veteran/active-duty military and first responders. She obtained her Medical Massage Practitioner Certification (MMP) from LMT Success School. Toni has also had the opportunity to be mentored by veteran massage therapist and bodyworker, Tami Richards LMT. Additionally, Toni has taken other medical and orthopedic massage classes to further her knowledge and expertise. Toni was awarded Best of the Albemarle-Massage Therapist of the year for 2025. 

 

Toni is a reiki master, a shamanic practitioner, is certified in grief reiki, and holds a certification from ACE as a group fitness instructor and a fitness and wellness certification from © Revelation Wellness. Toni provides various massage and healing modalities including reflexology, reiki, chakra balancing, illuminations, sound therapy, and castor oil packs to name a few.

Toni’s focus is relieving chronic pain and/or grief, providing space for detox and relaxation using the various modalities she is trained in to help one live their best life.
